Instalation fail + wrong serial number

Hello, I lost my cd + key from the Adobe CS4 Design Standard. Today Adobe Support Online created me a new serial number and sent me the installation files. I downloaded it and when I start the installation it writes an error: "Error installation. During installation encountered an error and can not continue. Obtain help from Adobe customer support." After this error i will enter the serial number, but the serial number is wrong.How should I proceed?

    • LS2 - ja-JP
    • LS3 - ko-KR / zh-CN / zh-TW
    • LS4 - da-DK / de-DE / es-ES / es-MX / fi-FI / fr-FR / fr-CA / it-IT / nb-NO / nl-NL / pt-BR / sv-SE

    Unfortunately, technical support helped me not and advised me to buy Adobe CC

    Phone support say me, that I need to install the East version (Russia, etc language). The serial for Czech version does not work on files for Western (English, French etc.). Is it possible this version to get this somewhere?

    Tomáš Mikulecký if you bought from Adobe directly and choose the download option at the time of purchase the installation files should be available under your account.  You can find more details at Find a download link on Adobe.com.

    If you bought the software on CD do you still have access to the installation media?

    Directly from the Adobe software I does not have. It is from shop in the Czech Republic. The problem is that the CD lost my colleague. And in the download section in here is not CS4 Design Standard for Czech language.

    May I know in which platform are you trying to install the Adobe Design Standard? Is it Windows or Mac?

    Win 7 64bit. I wrote it to the Online Support, when they generated me new key. And i use Cz language.


    Please download the file and re install the uisng the setup.

    Now I tried installing CS4 on another pc and it goes. Only I still have a problem with the key that brought me today Adobe compensation for my lost key.

    Tomáš Mikulecký I am sorry you have been facing difficulties with your Creative Suite 4 serial number.  Do you have a case number from your interaction with our support team that I can reference?

    If you were working with whatever Adobe Support Online is regarding the installation you are having trouble with then you should continue to work with them until the problem is resolved.

    This is the first time I have ever heard of Adobe providing a new serial number and files to go with it  - normally a link to download would be provided, they would not send you files.

    I have only a box of software and software instaled in the old pc. Now I want to install the software on a new PC. On the basis of proof of purchase Adobe generate me a new serial number.  I tried again the online support and she referred me to the forum : (
