I am sorry, Stephaniep1970 but as John pointed out Creative Suite 2 will not work on modern versions of Mac OS.  It was designed for PowerPC processors and relied on emulation technology, within Mac OS, to run on newer operating systems.  For more details see Activation server shut down for Creative Suite 2, Acrobat 7, and Macromedia products .

Branching to a new discussion.

Stephaniep1970 I am sorry you are facing a frustrating experience with installing Creative Suite 2 on your new Mac laptop.  What operating system is the Mac laptop running?

Are you aware that CS2 will not install on a modern Mac?

My friend who is a graphic design left me one of his very old computers that he doesn't use, MacBook from 2006, I still couldn't upload the CDs. Kept asking me for a verification code, which I have no idea, I used the serial numbers follow the steps and still get the message asking for a verification code.

If you want to run really old programs, you need a really old computer and operating system

And FYI... Microsoft did the same thing, and all under their own control... The perfectly good MS Office 97 I owned stopped working (would not even install) when I moved from a WinXP computer to a Win7 computer... Microsoft had TOTAL control over their own products (unlike here, where Adobe has NO control over Apple's operating system) and I was forced to buy MS Office again to be able to use it... So if you want to blame someone for your program not working, contact Apple
