Install for Element 10 on Windows XP

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 from Best Buy...inserted disc 1 in Disc Drive and nothing happens...can't find anything in Explore??????????

Potentate2010 does the disc show up when you open up My Computer?

Nothing shows up...cannot tell that the disc player is running...nothing on screen or My Computer

If nothing is showing up under My Computer then you will not be able to install from the disc Potentate2010.  Do you have a DVD drive or a CD drive on your computer?  Are you able to view other DVDs successfully?
