Error message: update required:
I want to install Lightroom and camera raw on my Mac.
I photograph in RAW format. Adobe Lightroom customer for 8 years.
A shame for development.
Monterey is the operating system there is no new one available for this Mac iMac
(Retina 5K, 27 inch, Late 2015).
How can I install Lightroom?
Why is there no reasonable answer?
What kind of bad customer service is this?
alexanderw,
Are those screenshots from the actual Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application installed on your Mac in
Applications/Adobe Creative Cloud/Adobe Creative Cloud or the Adobe website?
Only the Adobe Creative Desktop Application installed on your Mac will show older versions.

check the specs required, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html
and be aware that adobe only makes available the current and one major previous versions.

This is a user-to-user community. We're not Adobe Tech Support, just unpaid volunteers and fellow product users.
Make sure your computer meets the minimum CPU & GPU requirements. Most Creative Cloud apps work on these systems, no more than 2 versions back:

Unfortunately this issue is as much with Apple as it would be with Adobe. Your computer is nearing 10 years old and can no longer be updated to support the latest Mac OS nor the latest applications, Adobe aside. At this point your best option would be to upgrade your system to a newer model.

Thank you Ben M for your well-intentioned advice.
I get angry but that's not because of your answer but because of the politics of the corporations.
This is a good example to see the lies of corrupt corporations.
They don't care about environmental protection. Talking about climate change in corporate policy is pure hypocrisy.
My Mac is good enough for my purposes. Only these companies use these tricks to block our access to updates with older devices.
We should buy buy buy...even though the devices are good we should throw them on the scrap heap. You hypocrites
I don't have money for a new PC. So I have to look for another program to develop my RAW photos.
This way you lose your customers forever. We've been ripped off from all sides since the lockdowns

Download the Creative Cloud desktop app from here

The below screenshots are from a fresh install of macOS Monterey 12.7.6 on a 2015 MacBook Pro.
Go to Apps and, for example, with Lightroom Classic click on Other versions to see older versions and you should be able to install 13.5.1

Hello Jeff,
that was really very helpful.
I've been looking for a solution for weeks. I have already canceled my Adobe subscription.
You're the only one here who has any idea. Thank you.
The installation is running very slowly but I am confident.
I think your post will help other users with the same problem.
Best regards
Alexander
