Running El Capitan on an iMac. Have Lightroom 5 installed and using Lightroom mobile for about 10 days. Went to Adobe.com to install Lightroom 6 CC and got an error after the installation Configuration Error. A problem has occurred with the licensing of this product. Restart your computer and re-launch product. Did no success same error. Adobe CC will not launch. Told me to contact Customer support with error 213:5 but going through the menu's on this website it is obvious they do not want to bother with support their customers.

It sounds like you may have hidden files turned on which could be preventing you from locating the proper directory. If you are unable to locate the Adobe PCD and SLStore folder then I would recommend working with our support team directly.  For the best assistance, I recommend our chat support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.  Our chat representatives can provide a personalized experience to resolve the issue you have described.

You might want to try logging in as Root and running the applications there.  It should help you determine if it is a file permission based issue.  You can find more information on how to log in as Root at Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528

I marked it as correct last night. When I just went again it says correct. Am I missing something? Thanks.

You marked it correctly, and thank you for doing that. We just like to have it in the most appropriate forum so others may benefit from the answer so it has been moved to the download and installation forum due to the topic.

You have a permission issue with your SLStore directory.  I would recommend completing solution 2 of "Configuration error" CS5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/configuration-error-cs5.html#main_SLStor e

I am using El Capitan if that is the problem, but there is no SLStore folder in Library/application Support/Adobe/SLStore when I looked.
