Installation Failed due to Inconsistency in Installer Database

I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 for a while now and while using it my PC crashed and next time I loaded it up, I got an error. Decided to just reinstall it instead of trying to troubleshoot, which has always worked before when I get errors. Now, trying to reinstall it, I get this error: 6665f6356f8fa2537f6b1fbdc2167b75

I downloaded it directly from the Adobe website multiple times. What's going on? I had like one thing left to edit before exporting my video

Correct answer Xeferanus

Is this a volume license version of Premiere Pro CS6? If yes, then there could be multiple other troubleshooting steps which our experts at Deployment for Creative Cloud for Team, Enterprise, & CS community can help you with.

Hi Xeferanus,

Sorry that you are having trouble installing Premiere Pro CS6 as it fails with an error message. I would recommend you to click on "Error Summary" written in blue in the error window to know more about the issue and share that with us.

Meanwhile I would suggest you to use the Adobe CC cleaner tool to remove the Premiere Pro CS6 first from your machine:Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems  , using this tool will help remove all the installation related folders and files and then you'll be able to install the software again.

Use the following link to download the product: Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications.

Awaiting your response.

I used the cleaner and tried to reinstall: same thing.

Clicking the error summary brought up this directory in chrome:file:///C:/%5CUsers%5CAaron%5CAppData%5CLocal%5CTemp%5C%7B990E4D10-01B9-4497-BEFA-AFD18E11E76F%7D%5Csummary.htm

File not found.
Not sure what to do.

Thanks for sharing the update. I would suggest you to go to> C:/ Users/ Aaron/ AppData/ Local/ Temp : location of your machine and delete all the contents of this temp folder and retry. (App data is a hidden folder please see the following link to know how to show hidden files and folder: How to Show Hidden Files and Folders in Windows 7, 8, or 10 )
