Dear Kglad,
Thanks for your response. I already tried this all but it doesn't work out. Probably it works for CS5 but not for CC, at least not in my case.
Any other suggestions??
Thanks!

use the link i posted in message 1.
if all else fails, it guides you through checking your log files.
but before you get to that stage you should go through all the other suggestions at that link.

I'm getting this exact same behavior. The download/install gets to 42 % when trying to install Dreamweaver for the first time. There is nothing noted anywhere that describes a fix... only to check log files. Is there an actual fix somewhere or is this a support call?

check your running processes with installation stops and look for an adobe help program. end that process and see if your installation continues.

The only help related process i see running during the attempted install is Adobe CEF Helper and it's listed twice. It won't forcibly quit when requested. The installation is still failing at 42%

click ctrl-alt-del > open task manager > processes > select cef helper and click end process.

I'm on a iMac but I used the equivelant Activity Monitor on the mac. CEF Helper is listed but it won't forcibly close. It just ignores the request even as an admin user. So I started over by uninstalling all Adobe apps. I then ran the Adobe cleaner utility. I went back to Adobe Creative Cloud Manager and kicked off a new install of Dreamweaver. This has worked. The only issue is there are still references to the CS6 apps and all the new Adobe Cloud apps are referred to as "Dreamweaver CC" for example. But for now, the apps are installing even with the CEF Helper running in the background.

I trashed the helper CEF file and restarted, repaired permissions and still no luck.
