Installation succeeded but a patch failed

Hi! I've been having lots of problems installing and updating my programs from Adobe CC. I am on a Windows 8.1 machine, Intel i7-4770 with 8GB memory and 64 bit. I installed all programs and none would update. So I uninstalled and reinstalled. That fixed everything but Photoshop CC (2014) and Bridge CC (64 bit). They initially returned "Installation succeeded but a patch failed" and they will not update. Also Bridge will not let me place files in InDesign, it just shows Photoshop as an option. Please help.

Correct answer Imalwaysmekt

Imalwaysmekt Exit Code 32 can be found in Installation, launch log errors | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CCM.  Please try the steps listed in Error "The base product is not installed" | Installing update | CS5 to resolve your current error.

OK. All Adobe programs have finally installed properly. I found a fix somewhere on this site but can't find the link. Here's what I did to fix a media db error that was preventing just Photoshop CC (2014) and Bridge from installing properly. Went to Windows/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe and renamed the Adobe PCD folder to oldAdobe PCD, renamed backup folder to oldbackup, renamed caps to oldcaps and restarted the machine. Installed all needed Adobe programs. No errors. Thank you Adobe community!

Imalwaysmekt I would recommend reviewing your installation log files for the specific error message which caused your update to fail.  You can find details on how to review your logs at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors which you discover.

Thank you. The Photoshop install log is full of errors. I have DF037 errors, DF063 errors, Seq 145 errors and writing to disk in app data roaming, can't delete folder because they are not empty. This is way above my head. Is there an installation cleaner tool so I can just start over?

This only happens with Photoshop and Bridge. All other CC apps are good. Will try downloading conventionally from the Adobe website.
