Installing Adobe Air on a Mac 10.5.8

I have an Apple Mac with version 10.5.8 installed. I need a version of Adobe Air to install on it. Where can I get it please and what version will work on my Mac?

with your mac's browser go here: http://get.adobe.com/air/

and you should be offered the appropriate air version for your mac os.

I have been to the web address and it says "Your operating system does not support the latest version of Abode Air". I can then go to the archive site but I want to know what is the latest version on the archive site that will work on a Mac 10.5.8?

install the latest air 2 version.

I know I might be being stupid but I have downloaded the mac version of 2.7 and it says when I try to run the installer that it is for a Unix platform. Please can you adives exatcly where and how to install Air on a Mac 10.5.8!!!

MacOSX 10.5.8 was the last version of OSX that ran on both Intel and PowerPC Macs. Which do you have? If you have a PowerPC Mac then Adobe Air 2 is not supported.

A powermac. I am trying to install Digitaldesigner on it which needs Air installed. I have the following Adobe products already installed (it came with these):-

• Adobe InDesign CS4
• Adobe Media Encoder CS4
• Adobe Media Player
• Adobe Photoshop CS4

Is there anything I can do or is there an equivlant of Digital Designer? (www.docrafts.com)

AIR 1.5.3 is the last version of AIR that supports Mac PowerPC and Windows 2000. AIR applications that require AIR 2 or later cannot be installed or used on these systems.
