Installing Adobe CC apps on two separate hard drives?

I have an SSD for my OS and a larger hybrid drive for programs and files. I would like to install the app that I use more frequently on my SSD, and the ones I use less frequently on my 2nd Hard Drive, is this possible? I simply don't have enough space on my SSD to install ALL of the CC apps there. I noticed under Preferences>Creative Cloud>Apps there is an option to change the install location for the apps, but it seems to not allow for choosing a location for specific apps. Am I missing something? If this is not an option, could the developers please work on it? I imagine that a lot of designers/video producers multiple hard drives and would find this very useful!

TheTypographer, I am sorry, but not all of the applications currently available with a Creative Cloud membership support custom install locations.   For applications that do support custom installations than the steps offered by John in message #1 will allow the application itself to be installed to the custom location.

Please be aware that shared components and swap files will always need to be stored on the partition that contains the host operating system.  You may want to look at using a different computer, updating the drive, or being very selective on which applications are installed if disk space on the drive containing the OS is at a premium, TheTypographer.

For more information on the Adobe Creative Cloud, desktop application preferences see Use the Creative Cloud desktop app to manage your apps and services .

TheTypographer, I would also recommend following Melissa's suggestion and provide feedback for the software titles that do not currently support custom install locations.  Support for custom install locations is a decision that is made by each software titles product team and is not a limitation of the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application capabilities.  Providing your feedback, using the link offered by Melissa in message #3, can help make this feature available.

I have not done this myself, but I have read that once you install the Cloud Manager on your boot drive, you may click the 3 dots … to select settings to install the other programs

I assume you mean "Preferences," there in no option named settings in the 3 dot menu. As I mentioned in my post, the preferences menu only includes an option to change the location for ALL of the apps, you can't set it individually per app.

I am honestly not sure if this is possible. Assuming it's not, you can always put in a feature request here and maybe it will eventually be a possibility
