Hello,

I have a new laptop, and I want to take the Creative Cloud software off my old laptop.

Do I need to update my account somehow, or will I be able to download everything on my new laptop without any problems? thanks!

Just install the Creative Cloud App and then install your apps from there:

follow @Peru Bob's link to install on your new computer.

if you want to uninstall  adobe cc from your old computer:

uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Download and Install forum so that proper help can be offered.

you're welcome and for others, no.  you don't need to uninstall adobe cc from any number of computers in order to install on another.
