Installing Creative Cloud App iMac

Hello. I just downloaded the CC app for Mac OS. After installing it I get this error message that says, "Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of the Creative Cloud from http://...." I clicked repair and nothing happens. I uninstalled it and downloaded a new copy and installed that, but this keeps popping up. I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.3. Is CC not available for this version or do I need something else? Thank you for any help.
