Installing Creative Cloud + applications on Mac OS High Sierra

Last week my Mac has been in the store for resetting, after (apparently) an update went back, causing it to fail to boot. Everything's operational again, safe for anything I used from Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign CS 5). Currently my Mac's running on OS 10.13.2 (High Sierra)

I've been trying numerous times to install the Creative Cloud Desktop app and a trial version of InDesign, but I keep getting the same error message (P1 or 1). I tried every solution offered by the adobe people, but to no avail. Is there something in Mac that prevents me to use any Adobe CC Software? Any assistance would be nice, cause I'm about to give up on Adobe completely.

Correct answer Jeffrey_A_Wright

Tried the user account with administrator privileges. Same result. Keeps coming back with the same error message (P1).

Jurgenw27571875, in addition to the suggestions offered by Kglad and 99jon, please also see "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app which discusses how to resolve Error Code P1.  In particular, I would recommend removing the OOBE folder as discussed in solution two.

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

I never installed any CC applications before, so there's none to uninstall. The Administrator account didn't help either.
