Hi, My wife purchased a boxed Lightroom 4 complete with CD and serial number as a Christmas present. However the laptop (with Windows 😎 I purchsed afterwards does not have a CD drive. The question is - how do I install the program?

The program is to be used on a course in January. Please - I would like some fast advice about this question.

Best regards

Andy

What you've purchased is a serial number for Lightroom 4. The box and the DVD are added extras and the software on the disk may well be out of date anyway and require updating.

Download the trial version of LR 4.3 (current version) from the Adobe website and activate that with your serial number

Many thanks, I had hoped that would be the answer, but thought I would ask before I opened the box.

    Happy New Year
