Installing the 'new version of Creative Cloud'

Hello,

I'm trying to open my creative cloud from my desktop, however when I click on it the application opens for a second and closes again, bringing up a new dialog box stating:

"A new version of Creative Cloud is available"  and asks if I would like to install it.

I click continue, it goes through a load screen, like it is successfully loading.  However, when it gets to the end of the bar, my desktop resets in a flash (almost like a really quick restart), and I get an error message saying that it can't be installed with no fault code attached to it.

Anyone able to help?

Please post a screenshot of the problem.
