Invalid code from Amazon

I have purchased the Teacher edition of Creative Cloud from Amazon. I have been sent a product code to enter in order to activate it but it keeps saying that the code is invalid. I have contacted Amazon and they said I need to contact Adobe.

I have been through the Adobe support pages and have checked the code is correct and I keep getting the same message about the code being invalid.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Did you purchase directly from Amazon or a 3rd party seller?  That's an important distinction because not all 3rd party sellers are authorized by Adobe.

Hi Nancy

thank you for getting back to me , I purchased it directly from amazon.

i contacted them lastnight and the basic said that it isn't a fault on the side as Adobe give them the codes, so I should contact them ! But they seem to be a nightmare to get in contact with , every office is closed till Monday!

Did you read the other reply to your question/problem?

What you got is more than likely a Redemption Code that has to be used at the Adobe website to get a valid serial number. As stated in reply # 1 by John T Smith.

I'm having the same issue. Did anyone figure this out? It seems the issue is the redemption code purchased directly from Amazon does not have the same number of characters as the Adobe site wants for the redemption code. Any work around?

Simply put the redemption code from Amazon is 22 characters long and Adobe wants 24.
