invalid credentials

Contributor ,

I am using the latest version of Photoshop CC 2015 x64.

When I look under the Help tab it shows I am properly logged in to my adobe account. However on the third ribbon from the top there is a square icon on the far right side that had a human bust on it. If I click on that, which to my account, Chrome will often open with the message {"error":"invalid_credentials"}. On occasion it will take me to the log-in page for my account. While not a major issue it is an annoying problem if I want to have a look at my account. Can someone give me some guidance?

Thanks

Hi,

Please try the steps below:

  • Sign out from the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application (Sign in and sign out to activate Creative Cloud apps)
  • Browse to the location: [System Drive]:\ProgramData\Adobe
  • Rename the 'SLStore' folder to 'SLStore_old'
  • Browse to the location: [System Drive]:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
  • Rename the 'SLCache' folder to 'SLCache_old'
  • Sign in to the Adobe CC desktop app

Regards,

Sheena

Did the steps above but now when I launch Photoshop CC 2015 I get an error message that say I have to reinstall the product and quotes error code 16. If I open the Creative Cloud desktop app Photoshop, Lightroom and Acrobat no longer have the Launch button but instead a button that says Start Trial.

It seems that a reboot fixed the problem. When I started the PC this morning all Adobe programs were working fine. There was no need to follow the configuration instructions.

Thanks for your help.
