Question

Is the MacBook Pro able to download and run the creative cloud (NOT the Rush versions)?

I unexpectedly needed to buy a new computer recently, and I purchased a 13 inch MacBook Pro and was told that I would be able to use the Adobe Creative Cloud with it. I am not able to purchase the Creative Cloud subscription at the moment, but I am concerned that when I am able to, it won't work on my MacBook. I know there are Rush versions of Adobe apps available, but that is not what I am looking for. I can't seem to figure out if the Creative Cloud would work, but if it won't I need to know ASAP so I can return the Mac and try to find something that will. Thanks in advance!

I had the same question since I can only afford the base Pro model which I see the specs read 1.4 Quad-Core processor and 258GB HD https://www.apple.com/macbook-pro-13/specs/

No need to purchase it when you can trial it for 7 days at no cost.

Just be aware that you have to enter credit card details to access the trial.

In addition, the trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you contact Adobe and cancel it before the 7 day trial expires.

Thanks. So, they just wouldn't run on a Mac at all, they are for iPhone and iPad...

No.  Premier Rush can be installed on mobile, tablet, laptop and  dekstop.   It's RU in the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Premier Rush (formerly Adobe Clip) is the mobile companion app to Premier Pro.

Assuming you don't  have Catalina operating system, your Mac Book Pro should work OK.  And when Catalina officially releases in the fall, I would postpone upgrading until all the bugs are identified and patched.
