issues registering adobe creative suite 5.5 (student/teacher ed.)?

I've been trying to register my eligibility as a teacher to use a copy of adobe creative suite 5.5 design premium, but after following the appropriate support portal and filling in the order fulfilment form, I keep getting told that 'the request cannot be completed at this time.' Customer service told me to 'check the forums'. Anyone got any ideas?

Adobe no longer sells CS# anything, so chances are if you have an old copy of some software you won't be able to register it as being within the student/faculty realm.  If this is an old license that you are trying to reinstall, registration is only done once.

Adding to what Ned said... 5.5 is about five years old, so trying to convert a Redemption Code to a serial number https://redeem.licenses.adobe.com/getserial at this time may not be possible

If you've already redeemed and have a serial number, you should be able to install and register

That is, of course, if you have a computer with an old(er) operating system that is compatible

Both Mac Sierra and Windows 10 mean you will have problems installing that old version
