There might be an issue with your Host file.
Edit the Hosts file on the computer. The Hosts file is a plain-text computer file, often named "Hosts." It's used in an operating system to map host names to IP addresses.
Please follow these steps
Checking the host file
Windows 32 bit and 64 bit
Locate the hosts file.Click Start, click Run, type "%systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc" and then click OK.
Right-click the file and select Open. Select Notepad for the application to open the hosts file.
Save a backup of the file. Choose File > Save As. Name the file hosts.backup and click OK.
Find 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com and delete this entry.
Save the file and close it.
Mac OS X
Open a Finder window. Choose Go > Go To Folder.
Type "/etc" (make sure that the customer is logged on as an administrator).
Select the hosts file and open it.
Have the customer look for the entry 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com and delete this text
Save the file and close it.
OR
Create the default hosts file: Refer the customer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034 for instructions.
