Hello

Just downloaded and installed CS6. When I downloaded the product there were two files: Photoshop_13_LS16.7z and Photoshop_13_LS16.exe.

What is the purpose of the Photoshop_13_LS16.7z file? Is it used during the execution of Photoshop_13_LS16.exe?

Thanks

Stu

the 7z contains archived files necessary for installing ps.  once installation is complete you no longer need to keep Photoshop_13_LS16.7z and Photoshop_13_LS16.exe (though it's generally a good idea to maintain the installation files for future installations).
