[Moderator moved from Adobe Creative Cloud to Downloading, Installing, Setting Up .]

I recently had to restore through a time machine backup and am now receiving the error that licensing stopped working 150:30. I have updated to OS Sierra 10.12.6

I have tried everything on this link but have had no luck. Unfortunately, I can't reinstall as I do not have the discs that were used initially.

Error: "Licensing has stopped working" | Mac OS

Before reinstalling, use the CS Cleaner tool to wipe all traces of CS4 off your system.

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

You can download CS4 installers below.  You will need your serial number.

Download Adobe Creative Suite 4 (CS4) products

Do you have the legacy Java SE 6 Runtime?

Tell everyone you know who owns a Mac, including Apple employees... Mac Migration and Time Machine DO NOT WORK properly with Adobe program activations due to hidden registration files that are not included when Migration or Time Machine make their copies

Also, CS4 is not compatible with Sierra due to all of the changes Apple made to their operating system

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems due to Apple updates

-Apple did not maintain backward compatibility with old programs in El Capitan or Sierra

--Adobe has a workaround to Apple's problem of not maintaining backward compatibility

--READ HERE https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2301916 for an Adobe solution to installing old programs
