Lightroom 5 and Macbook installation

I had Lightroom 5 installed on my PC. I recently bought a MacBook Pro which does not have a drive for the installation disk. Can I download it and install it with my activation code on the box. I am not interested in the creative cloud. I just want to use my program. Thanks.

I forget if Lightroom 5 supports multiple platforms with a single license.  You can try downloading and installing the Mac version and see if your serial number works for it.  You might find issues with getting older software to install/work with the newest Mac operating system.
