Lightroom 5 Error code 213:10

I needed to re-install Lightroom 5 on my MAC - operating system Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6

The install appeared to go just fine, but when I go to open the app I keep getting Error Code 213:10

When installing, I was never asked for a serial number.  Not sure this has to do with the error.

How can I get Lightroom to open?

Did this resolve your problem? I have the same problem but the guidance given in the answers here does not match what I have in front of me on the screen. If you found another way to start up LR5 successfully?

A 'Lightroom' folder only - it is empty. No SLStore or AdobePCD Folders which the guidance suggest should be there

    Hello:

Your proposed solution didn't work in my case.  I recently updated to High Seirra and installed the Lightroom 5.7.1 from Adobe's archives.  When trying to launch, I get the below error:

I see that one of the proposed solutions is to rest sharing and permissions on the SL Store and a second folder.  I do not see this folder at the path suggested (i.e. Library/Application Support/Adobe). See image below:

Not sure what should I do.  reinstalled a few times but no solution yet.

I have the exact same problem, and I have followed all the steps above. High Sierra 10.13.2; no CC subscription.

May not apply in your case, but I have seen it mentioned that an OLD version of Java must be installed to get an old program (CS6 and earlier) working with your new operating system https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1572?locale=en_US

Different code, but 213:19 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1907953 is due to write permissions, so may help with an idea
