Lightroom 6.5.1 no update

Hi,

I have Lightroom 6.5.1 installed on both my iMac and my MacBook Pro. Both systems are running Mac OS 10.11.6.

Ealier today I noticed that the LR 6.6.1 upgrade has been available for a while now. So on my iMac I went to Lightroom > Help > Updates and the system showed the upgrades that are available.

When I do the same thing on my MacBook Pro (Lightroom > Help > Upgrades) I get the message that Lightoom is up tot date.

Both systems are running Adobe Application Manager 9.0.0.141.

Can someone please tell me what's possibly the reason for my MacBook Pro not to show me the available updates?

Regards

Correct answer dj_paige

I've tried both the 6.6.1 and the 6.7 updater. Both installers quit after 2 seconds and give me the error code U44M2P28.

And on my MacBook Pro the 6.6.1 updater I've downloaded from the Adobe website gives me a message that the upgrade is not possible. Error code: U44M2P28

Anyone any idea?

Cheers.

Download and install Lightroom 6.7 from Keeping Lightroom Up-to-Date

This is an update.

Sorry dj, but I don't get it. If I go to the page you suggest, I get the download options 'Application Installers' and 'Updates'. Under Application Installers' I can download LR6 for Mac (727 MB). Under 'Updates' I can download LR6.7/2015.7 and LR6.6/2015.6.1 (209 MB). I 've downloaded that last one and when I try to install it I get an error message code U44M2P28.

I presume that the first installer is the complete version and the other two are upgrades, or not?

In the meantime Adobe Application Manager on my iMac is downloading version 6.7 (I thought I read that 6.7 is only for CC and not for the stand alone version) and while installing this upgrade the program keeps hanging on 50% for over 15 minutes now.

Because it is an imperfect piece of software that does this sometimes. You're not the only person this has happened to.

So you think it's safe to manually download and install the upgrade?
