Lightroom cc Mobile cancelation

I have canceled my Lightroom Mobile CC through apple. Despite doing so my account does not convert to the free cloud subscription were I could then update it to a full subscription. This is incredibly frustrating is there nothing I can do but wait out till the expiration date of the subscription I had cancelled?
