Lightroom Classic CC not updating from 7.3.1

Hey all, my version of Lightroom Classic is still on 7.3.1 and I know there's a version that's now 8.1. In the creative cloud app it's showing as up to date with no option to download or update to the new version. My subscription is also up to date.

I'm on OSX 10.13.16 with a 2018 MBP.

Anyone have any ideas why this is?

What are you seeing instead, Billborez?  Can you post a screenshot?  Information on how to post a screenshot can be found at FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video? .


I just unistalled and re-installed LR CC and it installed the latest version.

No idea why it wouldn't update before this though.

Billborez, what process are you using to check for updates in the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application?  You can find details on how to update Lightroom Classic CC at  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/update-app.html.

I've pretty much done all of that, there is only an open button for Lightroom classic CC and no update button.
