Lightroom Classic CC System requirements for initial download

Question

I just purchased a Photography Plan containing Lightroom amongst other things. However, when I clicked to download the software, I got the following message for both versions of Lightroom:

"This computer does not meet the minimum system requirements for Lightroom Classic CC. Please refer to the system requirements in the Help documentation for a full list of hardware and software requirements for Lightroom Classic CC

This is strange, because my laptop is a fairly new MacBook Pro with plenty of available storage, fast/large processor, updated software etc etc. Also, my sister is using the same programs on her much more basic Macbook, which has less storage, smaller processor etc and has never had any problems....

So what is going wrong here? Grateful for any help 🙂

Lightroom Classic CC system requirements

If the System requirements are met, download Creative Cloud Desktop app installer setup from below link . Once downloaded install the app and Sign In with Email ID and password and try to install Lightroom CC:
