I would really like to purchase lightroom however I have an older macbook operating on os x 10.6.8. Is there any way for me to get lightroom?? I can't just purchase a new computer. I looked at the system requirements but I'm hoping I have another option.
The minimum requirements are generally Mac OS 10.10, 10.11 & 10.12
Older versions (not LR6.14) will run on Mac OS 10.8 (Lightroom CC 2015.1/Lightroom 6.1) or on Mac OS 10.9 (Lightroom CC 2015.6.12/Lightroom 6.12) so your options don’t look good unless you can upgrade the OS.
Check with Apple to see if your system would support an upgrade to 10.8 or 10.9
