Lightroom Mobile: 'trial expired' for CC Student/Teacher (Surfspot)

New Here ,

Hello all,

I bought a one year CC Student/Teacher subscription at Surfspot.nl (Netherlands). I can no longer use Lightroom Mobile, it says 'Trial expired'.

However, I can access / sync files with the CC, and I can also use the Create Cloud app (iOS).

I tried several options (logging in/out, uninstalling/reinstalling app, clearing all previously synced files, etc), but to no prevail.

When I open Lightroom Desktop, it also says that my trial expired when I open the 'Lightroom Mobile' preferences tab.

I searched the forums, and did find similar questions, but none of the suggestions work, or the provided pointers are not relevant (I bought my subscription at surfspot.nl. According to the description a 2GB CC should be included.). Most of the staff answers seem to be done via private messages (which beats the purpose of a forum IMHO), so that's also not helpful. I also could not find a way to contact support via my subscription page - I kept going in circles over predefined questions / answers...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried all the suggestions in this help document? Stop Creative Cloud 2015 from reverting to trial mode.

If none of those work, you may want to Contact Customer Care via chat for technical troubleshooting.

Hi Delphi,

Thanks a lot - I did try all those suggestions from the document, but unfortunately none of those helped...

I did not notice the 'chat' option before, thanks for pointing it out!

Kind regards,

-Fatma

Hi Guido,

Thanks a lot for the response. I was aware of that article, however I acquired my membership via 'surfspot.nl', not Kivuto. I checked the description at their (surfspot) page, but there was no mention of any limitations regarding the Lightroom mobile service, or any other service for that matter.

Thanks & kind regards,

-Fatma

Hi Fatma, I would suggest to contact surfspot.nl since it looks like that the info about their offering is not as clearly as it should be. - Guido
