Lightroom not dowloading - being told my Windows not compatible, but it is the lateset version

When trying to download Lightroom, I'm being told to complete the install , I have to update my Operating System to Windows 11 (version 21H2 or later). My operating system is Windows 11, version 23H2. How can I fix this?

don't use the opera browser for your default browser, at least when trying to download anything from adobe.  also:

Sadly not - I tried downloading through Microsoft Edge and am getting the same issue. Time to try Firefox

are you seeing the same error (incompatiuble os) with an updated chrome, for example?

Yes the same message on Chrome, Edge and FireFox...

Yes - Windows 11, version 23H2 which is the latest update, so it should work. That's the puzzle

is your internet explorer updated (even though you're not using it to download)?

I dont have IE but Edge is Version 132.0.2957.140 (Official build) (64-bit) - i.e. up to date

 A Windows re-boot and replacing set-up files has fixed this. Thank you for your help
