Mac OS Catalina: Photoshop CC 2015 Stopped Working. App to Install Current Version Does Not Work

I have been using Photoshop CC 2015, but since installing Catalina on my desktop it has stopped working.  I tried to install the current version, it would not install.  Support suggests using Uninstaller. first. I tried that. Uninstaller also does not work and does not provide any feedback messages at all.  What can I try next?
