Missing update on Adobe.com...where can I find the update?

Hello,

SHORT VERSION: The patch to update to Adobe Acrobat 9.0 is missing from the list of updates on Adobe.com.

LONG VERSION:

The update functionality of Adobe Acrobat Pro is not working.

(I solved the issue for Reader by doing new install of latest Reader, but of course I can't do this for Acrobat!)

So I have spent hours downloading and installing every patch. I got stuck at 8.3.1 because the patch to 9.0 is missing from the website.

I did find an article to do all 9.x updates at once from a zip, however:

1) I do not see the setup.exe and setup.ini it requires in the Adobe 8 install folder.

2) The article contradicts itself. It first says you can *deploy* 9.0 this way, and later says update *from* 9.0 this way! Link: http://blogs.adobe.com/pdfitmatters/2010/11/install-acrobat-9-0-and-all-updates-and-patches-in-one-s...

Can you please tell me how to solve this problem? Or let me know when the patch is added to the website?

Thank you!0

Sorry if I got you wrong, but Acrobat 9.0 is a full fledged release, it is not a patch update. If you have installed Acrobat 8.x on your computer, you will have to purchase an upgrade to the latest version.

Just in case, I am providing links to the update pages for Acrobat. Choose the link based on your OS. The udpates work only if you have the corresponding base version installed on your computer. For example, you can install the 9.x updates only if you have Acrobat 9 installed on your computer.
