Multiple Problems with Photoshop

My whole Adobe is totally screwed up.  1. My computer got a virus or malware, and trashed all kinds of stuff including Photoshop files (I'm pretty sure it may have been drivers).  2. Photoshop wouldn't run and I thought I'd reinstall it, so I uninstalled it from my system.  3. I couldn't find my serial number (I've since found it) and so couldn't do an update...plus I had uninstalled it.  4. I ended up downloading Elements 12 Trial Version.  It worked fine for the trial period and then it ran out.  5. I thought...I've already paid for Photoshop, so I'll do an update...and bought Elements 12 update.  6. Can't get the update or anything else to work now.  What do I do?

I did check that you had purchased photoshop Elements 12 on October 2nd, 2013.

• Please use the resolution in http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/troubleshoot-installation-photoshop-elements-premiere.h... regarding converting the trial to serialized product succesfully
