I can not keep up with adobe's pace of updates and have not installed any in months. My computer nags me daily that I have over a dozen to install. This includes multiple version of the same program such as PhotoShop 23.5.3 and PhotoShop 24.0.1 along with several others. Is it necessary to install them all in sequence or can I simply do the one with the highest number? Thank you
you can just update ps 24 and you can just update ps 23. or update both or update neither.
when it's a major version upgrade (eg, when installing ps 24 when you have ps 23 installed) you will have an option to remove ps 23. if you do not, ps 23 will continue to be supported and updates offered until the last version update is installed. (ie, you can have multiple versions on your computer and keep them all updated, or not.)
if you do not update an older version while it's still supported

if you do not update an older version while it's still supported (while it's still within 1 version of the current), updating will become more difficult.
bottomline: if you find the above confusing, do you really want ps 24 and ps 23 on your computer? if no, this becomes easy. if yes, do you want them both updated?
