Muse CC - Installation Failed

I've downloaded and installed most of the new cc apps that I need, but the Muse CC installation fails.  After clicking on the "learn more" link in the Creative Cloud app, a popup appears informing me that:  "Installation Failed. A beta version of this product exists on this computer. Please quit and uninstall that version before continuing"  Well I didn't have a beta version, but I did quit and deleted the version I did have. After emptying the trash, tried again - and received exactly the same message.  Am on Mac OSX 10.7.5  Version of Muse prior to attempting to install the cc version was Release version 4.1, Build 8

Hey, I had the same problem. I contacted adobe and they gave me this linka and everything worked perfectly http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_mac%22%3Ehttp://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_mac

I contacted Adobe through their customer service chat and they had me go here... http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html and install the cleaner tool. I selected Adobe Muse from the list, cleaned it up, and reinstalled Muse. It worked.

I'm having the same issue. It doesn't allow me to install Muse CC.

When I ran cleaner tool, it ran into errors and it's still not working...

Any ideas?
