My account "reverts" back to trial

Community Beginner ,

Hi I'm on a computer at  work and after updating my photoshop...my creative cloud keeps saying "up to date" when I open it and then goes back to "buy now"/"start trial"....If the 7 day trial actually runs out this is going to be a huge issue as this is a work computer. I use the same account at home with no issues.

I've tried to get rid of cookies and chrome cache...I've been on chat where I used the limited access repair tool...nothing..

Okay so I fixed it!

First, a quick note I was also experiencing these issues:
* the computer I was trying to use was not appearing in my "activated devices" list on my adobe account page.
* when I was trying to start an app whose trial had expired, I would get stuck in the "validating license loop" (validating license would appear in a window, it would close and then reappear)

Here is what worked for me:

Hi Benjamin,

I see you have an active Creative Cloud subscription under the same ID as with forums. As you are getting an error for trial, please follow the steps shared in the link to resolve this: Stop Creative Cloud from reverting to trial mode

Hope this helps! Feel free to update the thread for more questions.

Thanks

Kanika

Hey Kanika, I'm not sure if you marked this as correct, but I need to be clear, this solution DID NOT work for me.

I cleaned the cache and cookies several times, you've seen that my account is active, and it occured AFTER an update (to Photoshop).

I have additionally tried the steps outlined in @kstohlmeyer1 's reply to no avail as well. That is: signing in and out (from apps and from the cc application), my hosts file is clean, my subscription is active.

Again, this is only an issue on my work comp. I tried to chat with adobe people and they were not very clear about what I should do, and were trying a little to hard to remote into my computer which I felt uncomfortable with.

I need help resolving this issue, or at least make sure it is not marked solved, because it is not.

I'm on Windows 7 with this particular computer (windows 10 at home) if that matters.

On Windows delete or rename following folders

C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache

    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore

Then right-click the shortcut of CC application (e.g. Photoshop or InDesign), choose "Run as administrator" (or "More" > "Run as administrator"), enter your Adobe ID and password and clicks Sign in.
