May I know what exactly happening when you try to download Photoshop CS 6 ?

Photoshop cs5 is designed for:

Windows XP with SP3

Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise with SP 1 (S P2 recommended)

Windows 7

Photoshop cs6 was designed for:

Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 processor

Windows XP with SP3 or Windows 7 with SP1

CS6 applications also support Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.

* Video features are not supported on 32-bit Windows systems.

** 3D features are disabled and some Mercury Graphics Engine enhanced features may not work with less than 512-MB VRAM. Read the Help article.

If you just purchased CS6, you might be able to get a refund, but Adobe no longer sells CS5 software. Is it possible to upgrade your computer to make it compatible? Here are the system requirements for photoshop:
