My redemption code is invalid

This is _not_ a complaint at all - I'll type it again below, merely a _suggestion_!

1st, using forums to get help and information FOR HELP I _really_ appreciate. Most of the time the solution(s) is/are graciously learned from those forums - but it's time when you get the responses such as:

"Please see this url, subject xx.yy.zz, sub-topic 1-a, paragraph 2, sentence 4,and in the last 3 words inside that sentence _might_ help you out."

While I recognize you cannot possibly discover ALL solutions for ALL scenarios no matter how good your favorite search engine or forums answers DB may be. But, may I please and politely just point this out: It's just that much of an irritation after you enter your situation and the forum's DB of (suggested) answers comes across a (possible) solution for you - but that could VERY likely be either a mere suggestion or a totally wrong answer as well. If it IS the wrong answer - MANY will simply return the product. Why not, at least,

TRY: "Instead of using 0's,  Try using OH's instead." (What? Eight or nine words, perhaps?)

But the forums never cease and always seem to try: Please see this url, subject, sub-topic, paragraph 2, sentence 4, and in the last 3 words inside that sentence should help you out.

In this situation where I (now!) would've had my answer instead of practicing law-legal-phonics forms by using follow "this" url/book, to get to "that" sentence,  to see "that" sentence MAY explain it all quite clearly.

End-users, most of 'em who use search-engines for their scenario when running into a problem usually have been at their situation for longer than a short time-span and in most cases HOURS. By then/now, the end-user is about ready to take the product back to the store because they cannot get it installed. This is NOT a complaint (hopefully and politely meant more as a suggestion) - Why? You HAVE to picture this:  The end-user who's been searching, searching, and trying "this" and trying "that" for their solution(s) the VERY last thing they care to do is: "Please see this url, subject, sub-topic, paragraph 2, sentence 4,the last 3 words inside that sentence should help you out." Which will likely take (yet) another 15 minutes (in my case, anyway) to start reading another entire FIVE PAGES to get to that suggestion. (my/our solution was indeed pointed out on the 5th page down on the URL sent to me) and It only coincidentally helped - it may not have even been the solution.

In this crazy internet world of information over-load, and in these situations on MANY a forum(s) - where there are "rules you have to follow before your post is submitted/allowed to be posted" - and what I can imagine is a very large # of people having the same issue, it's probably NOT easy to answer a fraction of 'em who have the same issue, and I mean answer them individually. I'm attempting to demonstrate the forum moderators already have a tough enough job, but you be the judge, which would make you feel "something was helpful" or not by reading:

1. "Please see help here - https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/redemption-code-purchase-help.html"

or

   2. "Try Using Oh's Vice Zero When Entering The Code.

The first solution takes you off on to (yet) another page to sift through even MORE overloading information, (remember, by this time, you're not in a very happy mood to begin with!) or my suggested option # 2 - you can try immediately!

Lastly - is getting the response: "This has nothing to do with the question, solution deleted. Try using "this forum" instead whereas the answer/suggestion/question, I would imagine, could quite easily be moved/copied to the proper forum by the moderator(s). To make matters worse, (in this case, and indeed DEALS with this question) the system ends-up sending you, via email, you see that I received above - when I ALREADY knew the solution and if my suggestion was even read, it  CLEARLY states that - so there was no email even needed.

I don't mean to appear to be picking on Adobe, the moderator, or anyone else for that matter, just attempting to give the solution providers an opportunity to understand what happens BEFORE a forum is even used - and what may end-up where the end-user KEEPS the product(s) they just purchased instead of being brought far enough into frustration, reading a suggestion that's NOT a solution but a mere "see this." (In this case, Adobe makes MORE $$ by not having to issue a refund! Adobe,  you're certainly not broke, I understand, but giving BACK refunds/money is never the intent of ANY CEO/CFO/CIO.)

Here's another excellent SUGGESTION: Adobe, do _not_ use O's versus 0's in the redemption code - then NONE of this/these questions/forum-solutions/emails back/forth would have even needed to be done what-so-ever giving the moderator MORE time for more important (and real) issues rather than confusion  - this one was/is completely trivial in the end. Let's face it, MOST of us in this field are used to '0's' instead of an 'Oh."

Better YET, what's with redemption codes in the first place? The end-users who ran into "this scenario" are (obviously, they bought the box)  like myself, HONEST people!  If the product box is sealed, why not just put the 'serial #' where you put the redemption code(s)? (Still have to/had to have an Adobe ID to use it!) Anti-Piracy? That's been around for as long as the workstation/pc has been. _IF_ if can be pirated, it _will_ be - (that's MY OPINION ONLY!)  Keep pushing this sort of solution(s) for anti-piracy (and we all know ultimately are trying to get everyone to use the on-line products, IN MY OPINION) _will_ force many to seek alternative products.
