Hi guys,
just registered for a trial now and it turned out that my Mac's system requirements do no support the installation.
I assume it is the latest InDesign version and I have a bit older Mac.
I do not know how to go about it now as I wanted to use this Mac later in my work, too.
It's OS X Yosemite, 10.10.5.
Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013.
Processor 2,4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB
Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB
Is there any solution?
Thanks a lot,
Elena.

If you take a CC subscription you can run any of the CC versions of InDesign. Note that no version of InDesign can open files made by a newer version, so if you are sharing work with someone you must all agree on one version.

I see what you mean. Once I made a request for an official trial period, actually all the versions became available on my Mac both from 2015 and 2017. Looks promising. But is it also possible to somehow change InDesign's language from Russian into English as I bought it in Russia so I guess by default everything runs in Russian? That is somewhat disturbing as I watch simultaneously tutorial videos in English.

So I am walking through all tutorials and supporting materials now. Just faced some issues with graphics. So if I want to incorporate images outside of InDesign (my own Canon-made pictures) into the programme's frame how can I resize/rescale them so as the original format stays? Although the incorporated image shows the value of 72 PPI, the actual physical dimension is much bigger and I only see the middle part of the original image

Hi Elena, I don't use InDesign so can't help you out there, I'd suggest you post your query over on the Adobe InDesign forum

Sorry Ged, just realised I am still in the Installing & Setting Up Discussion Group
will refer to InDesign than as I do have more and more questions! Thanks.
