Need my Serial Number for Lightroom 5

Hi.

In the past I bought Lightroom 5 as a CD within the order code to get the serial number.

I Installed the program and it works fine.

Just now I have installed my computer new and so I have to install Adobe Lightroom 5 new too.

If I use "www.adobe.com/go/getserial_de" and get my order code for the serial number

I logged in the Adobe environment, put in my 24 digit registration code and

I got the message that this code is already registered for an Adobe product too.

That's correct - by me on the last installation of my computer.

Where can I find the serial number for my registration code inside the package of Adobe Lightroom 5 ?

Thorstenl42640747 I am sorry, but there are no Adobe software titles registered under the e-mail address you have used to post to this public discussion forum.  Please see http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html for details on how to locate registered Adobe serial numbers.

If you received a redemption code, then it would have been registered under the e-mail address you used to redeem the code.

If you already have your serial number then what error is preventing you from reinstalling Lightroom 5?  What operating system are you installing Lightroom on?

Yes, thats correct I think so.

Before I create a new Adobe account I had a former different internet provider and after changing the provider I can't use the old email address even longer.

If I remember the old email address has been <Removed by Moderator>

But I have not even longer access to it, so I can't order an new Adobe password for this account.

That's the reason why I had to create an new Adobe account with the email address <Removed by Moderator>

I hope this explains the situation.

Is it possible to transfer the registration Information for Lightroom 5 from my old account to my new account ?

If you already have your serial number then what error is preventing you from reinstalling Lightroom 5?  What operating system are you installing Lightroom on?

If I already install, I installed Lightroom from the CD and if I want to start the program it want the serial number.

I tried to get them via adobe.com/go/getserial_de , put in the 24 Digit registration code from the package to get the serial number and get the information that this registration Code war used already.

My operating system is Windows 10

Thorstenl42640747, thanks for the clarification.  Please follow the steps listed in http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html to locate your serial number.  If you originally used a different e-mail address then you will want to log into http://www.adobe.com/ with that e-mail address to retrieve the serial number.

There is no need to go to https://www.adobe.com/go/getserial_de/ ever again as you have already completed the redemption process.

Sorry, it's not possible, because I have NOT EVEN LONGER access to the former email address / former Adobe account.

The email account has been deactivated with my change to a new internet provider.

So I can't follow your instructions on that way.

Sorry.

I bought a program named Lightroom 5 for 139.- Euro with CD and I only want to use the "my" program.

This Licence has been paid and I only need the serial number to use the already paid program.

My Lightroom 5 license isn't a release für subcription and  that was exanctly what I want as I bought it.

I have NO possibility for a login to my former Adobe account.

I have no preference for the way but I need the serial number

Thorstenl42640747, if you are unable to establish a successful chat session at Contact Customer Care then please use an alternate web browser, smartphone, or tablet to begin the chat session.  It is likely the current settings, add-ons, or plug-ins of the web browser are blocking you from chat support if you are seeing public discussion forums as the only option to contact Adobe.

The only thing I learned about these conversation and completely useless user support workflows is

"Don't use longer Adobe products".

Adobe only wants your money, but not that you can work satisfactorily with the paid programs.

I am sorry you continue to face difficulties retrieving your serial number, Thorstenl42640747.  It does appear that you have continued to struggle with establishing a private chat session.  Were you able to use a different web browser, smartphone, or tablet to begin the chat session at Contact Customer Care ?
