PDF file opens illustrator instead of acrobat

After the most recent upgrade in Mac Mojave and the update to CS, every time I open a PDF file it launches Illustrator instead of opening in Acrobat. It used to open directly in Acrobat. Is this an upgrade glitch? How do I make this stop?

    1. Right-click on a pdf file
    2. Click on Get Info in the pop-up.
    3. Click Open With in name and extension
    4. Click the dropdown and choose an app.Click Change All...
    5. Click Continue when the Finder asks you if you're sure.

        You need to find out how to check and set your file associations

        I know how in Windows, but zero Mac knowledge
