I have a brand new Surface Laptop and when I install Elements 2023 I get error code 16.
The Adobe support material does not cover Windows 11 installations. When I follow the support guide for Windows 10 there is no "Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\ Adobe PCD\" folder so the support guide is clearly out of date or there is some other issue when installing Photoshop Elements and the folder is not being created.
When I try to contact support all I get is a stupid AI bot that refuses to help me because I don't have a valid plan however I bought this software outright and a plan is not applicable.
Is there anyone in the community who knows how I can fix this problem? Help greatly appreciated.

Conrad, I'm sorry you can't install Photoshop Elements 2023 on your new Surface Pro laptop running Windows 11 Pro.
Please post more details about the text you see near Error Code 16. Information on how to locate and interpret the fatal error can be found at https://adobe.ly/4fPFxb6. ^JW

Hi Jeffrey,
Thank you for responding, I've attached a screen shot of the error message I get at the end of the installation and/or if I now try to run Photoshop. Also attached is the installation log. I'm not technical so I'm not quite sure what I should be looking for here. There seem to be a lot of warnings and errors.
Regards, Conrad

Thanks for the update, Conrad, but the critical information is within your log file. Please use the find command to locate the fatal error that is preventing the installation from completing. You can find additional information under step 2 of https://adobe.ly/40GUUhX on how to interpret the file. ^JW
