Photoshop CC 2015 - INSTALLER FAILED TO INITIALIZE

Hey Folks,

I really need your help here. I've been using Photoshop CS7  for a while, and I decided to upgrade to Photoshop CC 2015. i uninstalled the  PS CS7 and downloaded PS CC 2015. I clicked on the set up file, and got a pop up box saying "We've encountered the following errors. Installer failed to initialize.Please download Adobe support advisor to detect the problem"

I went online only to find out that Adobe support advisor has been discontinued.

I've searched this forum and other sites  for possible solutions to it. I've tried all they recommended.

Like renaming the OOBE folder to OOBE.old. I've Used CC cleaner to clean my system. I've even installed Adobe Application Manager twice, all proved abortive.

Your advise and possible solution to this would be highly appreciated,
