Photoshop CC (2015) won't Install on Mac

Hey,

Just some general info:

I am running OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 on a Macbook Pro. I have installed the Adobe Illustrator Trial without any issues. I've tried, unsuccessfully, to install the trial of Photoshop CS(2015) for damn near two days now. I know this is an old problem and I've read multiple other threads with the same or similar issue. However, I still haven't resolved anything. I am considering getting PS CS 2015 but don't know whether that would be a smart decision if the trial version won't even run on my mac.

When I try to install the program either via Creative Cloud or a separate dmg file - I get an error in the start of installation (which is at 42% in Creative Cloud).

All I get is: "There was a problem Installing Photoshop CC (2015)" When I try to get more information on the error encountered all I get is a blank page - Therefore, there is no error code to identify.

I've tried to clear the tmp folder, to read various logs, to wipe every adobe program (including AI, creative cloud, Adobe manager and etc) and re-install, to delete AMMUpdater-OOBE folders, and all the other things suggested in various forum threads such as these:

Error downloading, installing, or updating Adobe Creative Cloud apps

Photoshop CC install stalls at 42%

Photoshop CC trial download keeps freezing at 42%

re: Hangs at 42% and direct install fails

I am hoping that someone have an answer to this problem - because at this point I am baffled. I got no idea what to do...

Thanks,

George

Please refer below links :

fail to download photoshop when 42% via creative cloud?

Installation Failed

Note :

Try to install from Root user account once. if that does not work , then you may go ahead for manual complete removal and reinstallation process.

Also one more thing , removal process might affect trial period of Illustrator CC 2015 ,  however if the trial says expired you can still install and try CC 2014 version for 30 days , Im just being Honest. But I am sure that the steps will work.

However , if you wish you may also get technical assistance from Adobe Support :

If possible , please post screenshot of error message .

I think you are getting blank page in Safari browser when you click on Error Summary right ?

Yes, you are correct. However, this time there is a link that says "system requirement" in the left corner. - After looking the requirements over - I am pretty sure I fulfill all of them. - Photoshop system requirement

did you empty your tmp folder?

if so, restart installation.  if it hangs at 42%, open your activity monitor and terminate all adobe help processes.  installation should continue.

Kglad -

Yeah tried that several times. Still doesn't work. It doesn't hang tho - immediately when it gets to 42% it stops and brings up the "Installation Failed" tab.
