Hey guys,

I have a short question. I have the macbook pro and the creative cloud installed on it. The creative cloud is showing me that all my apps are updated on the newest, but they are still the version from 2017. Where do I find the photoshop, illustrator or indesign for 2018 ?

I've got the newest update on my imac, just my macbook is not showing the update for 2018. Can you help me ?

Thanks a lot

Hi Verenae,

I know you mention you have the newest update on your iMac. Does that mean it meets all the system requirements for CC2018? Adobe Creative Cloud system requirements? Also, check the situations in this help document to see if any apply and might be causing the 2018 apps to not display: Not all apps displayed for download | Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app

If none of that applies, try the solutions in this help document: Available updates not listed for Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

I have been having this same issue with the new updates for 2019 in the creative Cloud. I followed all of the instructions that you posted by reinstalling, refreshing, removing the OPM.db file, etc. I have windows 10 and all the system requirements are correct. I am not sure what to do now. I checked the compatibility mode issue as well. Do you have any other suggestions for this new release? Also, my creative cloud shows the current version and shows the newest photo with "what's new" showing. I am stumped!

Hi Walker34,

Is your Windows 10 Creators update or later? If not, you can upgrade to the latest version for free. Notes on the system requirements for CC2019 as well as links to upgrades can be found here: OS support for CC 2019 apps.

If that doesn't resolve the problem, please reply to this discussion or make a new post with the details of the issue you're experiencing. More people will see and respond to a recent post than one that's 6 months old.

Here is the answer I received from out IT dept. I will not be able to upgrade with the new Windows 10 1709 or more requirement. Very frustrating!

I’ve checked with the other IT staff. Update 1709 is for the consumer version of Windows 10, but we’re on the Enterprise Long Term Service Branch (LTSB) version of Windows 10 which doesn’t get such routine major updates (analogous to service packs in prior versions of Windows) and instead maximizes stability for business use. The next release of this type of Windows 10 won’t be until next year, but since the consumer version of Windows performed so unreliably in our agency’s network (due to its mandated behavior with unrestricted Internet access), there would need to be a severe business need before we could consider upgrading an assigned staff machine off of the LTSB version

That is frustrating Michell. I'm sorry to hear it! You could fill out a Feature Request/Bug Report Form with Adobe suggesting a compatibility workaround. I'm not sure they would do anything, but it's worth making them aware of the issue.
