Photoshop Elements 8

My wife has recently changed her laptop, and in doing so lost some software. She needs Photoshop Elements and I have it on my Mac.

As her laptop is Windows, am I able to download the Windows version and use my existing license for it?

your license is for a single-user so it's not legal for you to share it with your wife.

Hello Darren,

As per your concern, if you have a Mac license, then it can only be used on a Mac machine, if you want to use it on a windows machine, you have to purchase a Windows license.

Ah, I was under the impression that Elements 8 was a dual platform license.
