Photoshop update does not progress past 47%

 I have been working on updates for days, and my photoshop bugs out and the move tool takes over my mouse icon, and no matter what tool I select only the move tool will work. So I see there is an update, I think maybe this will fix it... But it refuses to update. Please help.

re: your update problem, is your os win 10 or win 11?  if yes, update your os, restart your computer and then retry updating ps.

(note: if your current problem is a preference problem, updating will not resolve that problem unless you opt to remove your preferences at the start of the update.)
