Photoshop will not open. It says I need to be online

I am a paid customer. I just renewed my photoshop two days ago. I went to get on to it and Creative Cloud came up and said I need to be online. I have internet connection and it still will not open. I have been on hold with adobe for more than 45 minutes and I still can't get on. How do I open photoshop and start working on photos? I have never had to be online before to run photoshop.

Natek93857565 I am sorry that you are unable to open Photoshop.  Are you attempting to open Photoshop CC 2017?

I would recommend you begin with following the steps listed in Resolve connection errors with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications .  It is likely that a connection error is preventing Photoshop from seeing that you are online.  This could also be preventing you from successfully contacting our chat support at Contact Customer Care.

If you have any questions regarding the steps listed in the document then please update this forum discussion Natek93857565.
