Photoshop won't install to D drive

I changed my default install directory to the D drive, which has 1.37 TB free, but I keep getting an insufficient drive space error.  What is going on?  It seems that it is still trying to install to the C drive.

Thanks.

You need a big primary HD for your OS plus everything else.

Windows 10 - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028142/windows-10-system-requirements

Hard disk space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS or 20 GB for 64-bit OS

Please ensure your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements to run Creative Cloud + all other apps you use. Check each one.

No matter where you select as the install location for Adobe programs, and that has to be done in the CC desktop app Before you install any other Adobe programs, parts of all Adobe programs will still be installed on the System drive/partition and for Windows that would be the C drive/partition.

So it is time to clean up your C drive by either deleting things you don't need or moving them to some other drive.

How much space would I need to install any apps?
